FEATURED RECIPE
MILLER LITE BROWN SUGAR RIBS
Easy and delectably delicious baby back ribs marinated in a smoky dry rub, braised in the oven, and finished off with a sweet beer and brown sugar glaze.
SERVES- 6
PREP TIME- 20 minutes plus marinating time
COOK TIME- 1hour 40 minutes
INGREDIENTS
RIBS:
2 tablespoons smoked paprika
1 tablespoon mustard powder
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 racks baby back ribs
Water
BROWN SUGAR GLAZE:
½ cup light brown sugar
½ cup Miller Lite
2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS
Step 1
In a bowl, combine paprika, mustard powder, salt, chili powder, and garlic powder. Rub ribs completely with mixture and place on a rimmed baking sheet. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours or up to overnight.
Step 2
Allow ribs to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Fill the bottom of the baking sheet with ¼-inch boiling hot water. Cover with foil and place in the oven. Braise ribs for 1 hour and 20 minutes until tender.
Step 3
While the ribs are cooking, combine sugar, Miller Lite, garlic, mustard, salt and black pepper in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat then reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes until the mixture has thickened.
Step 4
Increase oven temperature to 425°F (220°C). Brush the glaze (reheat if the glaze has become too thick) on the ribs and bake, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Preheat a gas or charcoal grill to medium-high heat. Transfer the ribs to the grill and grill for 3 minutes a side until lightly charred. Slice and serve.
Notes: Serve with potato salad, corn salad, fruit, grilled corn, and grilled vegetables

Thanks to our team members we had overwhelming support for this years giving tree. We were able to take 2 van loads to the Cleveland City Mission and to the Greater Cleveland Hope Lodge. Both were very happy and thankful to receive donations of paper products, toiletries, diapers & wipes, craft supplies, toys, clothing, hats & gloves. Together we were able to make some families very happy this holiday season!

ROB GADKE
Rob is our maintenance technician has been with Beverage Distributors for a little over 3 years. Rob works relentlessly on trucks and tirelessly reacting to mechanical issues that would hinder our operational environment if it wasn’t for his tenacious work ethic. In one week alone, Rob repaired and replaced the entire wiring system for a trailer, went outside of his scope to repair a tow motor, and replaced integral parts in a broken down engine. Beyond conducting a myriad of core functions, Rob is always responsive to last minute emergencies and executes with precision and with a sense of urgency. Rob is the last one to take a seat and the first one to start tackling the week’s challenges. His multi-dimensional and cross-functional expertise is leaned on heavily from all personnel. Although much of his work and dedication to keep the fleet operating is behind the scenes, his outcomes and proficiency greatly enables us to serve our customers. Rob enjoys BDI because every day is a new and different challenge and keeps him on his toes. In his spare time, Rob likes to enjoy an ice cold MGD, Miller High Life or Sprecher Rootbeer.
